A Perspective of Hunger
I walk down the street with my mother and father to notice a child who is in need of someone to stop hunger. Their eyes filled with sadness and distress, about to cry their last tears of wishes. The poor little child, as skinny as a stick, hope rushes through me, to stop this big mess. I feel like im crushed and almost crying, for things need to be changing in this world of crisis. I now feel like helping by feeding the child, but I am mearly one and can not help every child. HELP!! HELP!! my heart screams out, as i cannot do anything as much as i want to shout, the child will soon parish and we will all forget him like he never existed, we need to change this sad fate for these poor little children.

Is Hunger Staying or Going?
The target for the World Food Sumit was to get make half of the amount of hungry people disapear. The (estimated) number of undernourished people in developing countries was 824 million in 1990-92. In 2009, the number had climbed to 1.02 billion people! The WFS goal is a global goal adopted by the nations of the world to help; so, overall, the world is not making progress toward the world food summit goal, although there has been progress in Asia, and in Latin America and the Caribbean its not enough to help change the amount of people hungry. So each day still piece by piece by piece is slipping away from the people in need of food, soon all the pieces will be gone and the only thing left will be their empty, cold, soulless body.

Enough food to feed EVERYONE?
The world produces enough food to feed everyone but why do people still starve? World agriculture produces 17 percent more calories per person today than it did 30 years ago, even though our population increased over the years. The main problem is that many people in the world do not have sufficient land to grow, or income to purchase, enough food. Poverty is a big reason why people are forced to move to the streets and end up with no food left. Even when they did have their houses they could have had financal problems and couldn't afford food or they just didn't have the enough money from their jobs to offord anything. This chart below shows how many people were hungry from 1969-2010. From 2008 to 2010 it was the biggest rise and drop through the years. We have food but basiclly nothing changed so that everyone actually gets food around the world.

Malnutrition
According to the most recent estimate that Hunger Notes could find, more than 70 percent of malnourished children live in Asia, 26 percent in Africa and 4 percent in Latin America and the Caribbean. In many cases, the children get very sick usually because they had a malnourished mom. Mothers under-nutrition lead to 1 out of 6 infants born with low birth weight. This may cause learning disabilities, mental, retardation, poor health, blindness and premature death, but if they do survive that is the main reason why kids are left homeless since their parents do not want them any more.

Saddness is spreading
All over the world people are starving on the streets, waiting someday that a person will give them food or money so they could survive somemore. Over 925 millions of people around the world in 2010 have lost there homes and are now on the street starving, most of which are in Asia. Can you even imagine, children sitting there on the street alone, cold, and hungry. People just walk by looking at them with saddness in their eyes but just walk away without giving them anything! Because of this many children are suffering from different types of illness alone or with a family since they do not have any
